AIZON P.L.C.'s founders are advocating through the regional and federal administration to convert the Bahar Dar royal palace into a repository for the centuries-old historical and religious books found in ancient churches and monasteries in the region. Alternatively, a registration of the books at their current locations could enhance preservation of this heritage. Under the current conditions, these ancient books are not always adequately preserved and may be subject to financial speculations by certain types of visitors. These books are unique testimonies of the Ethiopian religious and historical past which were at the very place where the Arc of Covenant is said to have come to Ethiopia.
